Definition: A list of pharmaceutical drugs, along with the formulas used to make them, their uses, and how to prepare them.

Health insurance companies maintain a formulary, which is a master list of pharmaceutical drugs, and the amount of money reimbursable for each drug based on the price negotiated with the seller, and the type of insurance program the insured patient has paid for.
