Guidelines for Reviewing Health and Medical Media

Review Health and Medical Books, TV Shows, Videos, Games, Apps and More

There are thousands of media information resources available to empowered patients, including great books about being a smart, empowered, knowledgeable patient, TV shows, videos and movies that help us better understand our own circumstances - or are, perhaps, simply entertaining. You might even have an application on your phone that helps you manage your health.

Conversely, there are hundreds of health and medical media that aren't useful and could be dangerous. Patients and caregivers are wasting their money and their time with them.

It's impossible for one person to review them all! Even if one person could review all this health and medical media, the results wouldn't be as balanced as having reviews from a number of people.

Now YOU are invited to provide your reviews!

Here are some simple guidelines:

  1. Decide what you want to review. There are four templates available to you - please be sure to choose the right one:

  2. If you are the author of the book or the developer of the show, game, app - we will not accept your review. Please ask someone else to submit a review on your media's behalf. If we determine you have reviewed it yourself, it will be deleted.

  3. Your email address is required so you can be notified when your review is published. However, it will not be published.

You'll be helping thousands of other people who want patient empowerment information just like you, by reviewing this media. We can't wait to see what you have to say!
