It was only a matter of time before we would begin to see the swine flu facts clouded by the untruths.
Remember that game called Telephone that we played as kids? That's what it reminds me of. Between the Internet and social media, the fiction is spreading faster than the flu itself!
So I've addressed some of those swine flu myths. Do either Madonna or Salma Hayak have swine flu? What's this about Texas not getting any federal money because they are ready to secede from the Union? Can you really get swine flu by standing near someone who is Mexican?
Seriously. These and more.
You may have heard some I have not heard, too. Will you share them with us? Or -- if you are unsure about a rumor you have heard, will you share that with us, too?
Here's a link to the myths. And a link to a place to share your myths or questions. Thanks for helping the rest of us hone in on the true facts - the ones that will keep us healthier.
