Thimerosal, Flu Shots and Follow Up on Eli Stone

Thursday January 31, 2008

With all the controversy surrounding Eli Stone, addressed yesterday in this blog, the question has also been raised about whether flu shots contain thimerosal.

I'm not going to answer that question. Instead, I'll direct you to my colleague, Lisa Jo Rhudy, who answers it, explains it, and makes it easy for us to get our arms around. Her post relates to autism because that's where the question marks came from. But her answers are helpful for everyone.

Patients are wise to ask these kinds of questions. Just because something becomes mainstream doesn't always mean it's a perfect solution. Thanks to Lisa Jo for the clarification.
